Situated in the Southern Fells of the Lake District, Woodland Cottage is a detached nineteenth century cottage, in a style typical of many in the Lake District. The cottage was originally used in the production of local Lake District cheese’s until the 1920’s when it became a cottage for estate workers.
There is a small sunny garden to the front with garden furniture and barbeque provided.
Lounge and Kitchen
The open plan lounge features oak flooring and a traditional Lakeland slate fireplace and electric coal effect fire are the perfect setting for a self-catered holiday. There is a flat screen television with Freesat and DVD, Woodland Cottage also has free WiFi access.
The open plan kitchen includes an electric hob and oven, microwave, dishwasher and fridge freezer.
Bedrooms
There are two bedrooms upstairs, one double and one twin room, both of which have recently been refurbished to a high standard using quality furnishings in solid oak. Bed linen is provided.
Bathroom
There is a downstairs bathroom containing a power-shower, ideal for soothing those aches and pains after a hard day exploring the lake districts fells, lakes and mountains.
Short break holiday lets are available all year.
Pets are welcome in Woodland Cottage, we charge an extra £2 per day.
