We have had some great spring weather in the lake District recently, and it looks set to continue. We have been for a lovely walk today in Longfield Wood on the farm, to look at the beautiful primroses which always look so pretty nestled next to the river bank. The bluebells are also just starting to come out, hopefully a sign of warmer weather to come. It is a lovely time of year to visit the area for a short break, and get exploring this quieter corner of the Lake District.
